11. Google Analytics and Google Signals
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC ("Google"), to understand how visitors use our website.
Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as traffic data, pages visited and interactions.
We have enabled Google Signals, which may collect aggregated and pseudonymised data from users signed into Google accounts with ad personalisation enabled. This can include cross-device tracking and demographic insights.
Data collected may include device, browser, approximate location, pages visited and behaviour.
Google processes this data under its privacy policy:
https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Analytics runs on all visits to our site. If you do not wish to be tracked, you can use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, your browser's cookie controls, or a tracker-blocking extension. Full opt-out options are set out in section 13 below.
12. Website visitor identification (Apollo.io)
We use Apollo.io, a business intelligence and sales engagement platform provided by ZenLeads Inc. d/b/a Apollo.io ("Apollo"), 440 N Barranca Ave #4750, Covina, CA 91723-1722, United States.
Apollo places a tracking script on our site which collects your IP address, pages viewed, time and duration of visit, referring source, browser and device information, and approximate location.
Apollo matches your IP address against its own databases of business networks and company records in order to identify the organisation you are visiting from. Where a match is made, we may be shown information about that organisation, including its name, industry, size, revenue range and location, together with the pages viewed from that network.
Depending on the features enabled, Apollo may also match a visit to individual business contacts held in its database, including name, job title and business email address. We use this information to understand which organisations are interested in our services and, where appropriate, to make contact about them.
This means that if you visit our site from a business network, we may be able to identify your employer and, in some cases, individuals associated with it, even if you have not submitted a form or otherwise given us your details.
Apollo maintains its own independent database of business contact information and acts as a data controller in its own right in respect of that database. Apollo is a registered data broker in a number of US states. Apollo's own privacy notice, and its process for requesting removal from its database, are available here:
https://www.apollo.io/privacy-policy
https://www.apollo.io/company/privacy-center
Lawful basis: we rely on our legitimate interests in identifying and contacting organisations that may be interested in our services. We have assessed that this processing is proportionate and does not override your rights and freedoms. You may object to it at any time by emailing info@firefly-digital.co.uk, and we will stop processing your data unless we have compelling grounds to continue.
How to opt out: you can block this tracking using your browser's cookie and script controls, or a tracker-blocking extension. You can also request removal from Apollo's own database directly via its Privacy Center, linked above.
Apollo processes this data in the United States. Transfers are made under the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and Apollo is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
